Populous II: Trials of the Olympian Gods Description

The premise of the game is equal to that of its predecessor, Populous , in which the player assumes the role of a deity and should lead his people to defeat other deities and their followers. The player must achieve its objective by constructing buildings that serve several functions for their people and making divine intervention (changing the ground and throwing disaster his enemies). Populous II also uses the same perspective isometric that the first installment, but with graphics improved.

However, unlike the first game, Populous II: Trials of the Olympians, the player representing a deity Greek . To claim his place among the gods of Mount Olympus , the player is forced to prove himself worthy of occupying this position, so Zeus sends him on a mission to defeat 32 other divine opponents and conquer the different worlds they occupy.

Among the most important additions concerning the first installment of the series is several improvements to the interface, further details of the faithful (you can see the differences in sex) and more disasters to launch on enemies. Furthermore, it is possible to grant the title of "knight" one of the faithful, making a figure in Greek mythology as Adonis or Helen of Troy , among others, each with a number of different special abilities.
