X-Men Description

X-Men is a home console video game produced by Sega in 1993, based on the adventures of the Marvel Comics superhero team, the X-Men. One or two players can play as any of four pre-chosen X-Men. X-Men is a Genesis-exclusive game.

Professor X's Danger Room is a training facility that can fully re-create environments in which the X-Men can practice their powers. It is similar to the holodeck in Star Trek fiction. One day, the Danger Room malfunctions and randomly begins loading dangerous simulations. It is revealed that Magneto has loaded a virus into the Danger Room's computer; the X-Men must stop it.

In this side scrolling action game, the player can control one of four playable characters: Gambit, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, or Cyclops. In addition, the player can call upon four other X-Men in when necessary.
