ACE Air Combat Emulator Description
ACE Air Combat Emulator or Ace is a flight simulator video game developer by Cascade Games for various home computers starting 1985. An expanded version and several ports to other systems followed in the next couple years. In-game, the player takes the role a fighter jet pilot defending an England coast land against an enemy invasion, having to fight off areal, ground and naval forces while Allied bases evacuate. The display shows the plane's instrumentation and cockpit view.
