Terminal Velocity was a reknowned video game during the mid-1990's. It was released by 3drealms in 1995.

It was known for its relatively high action sequences during its time, especially if compared to other flight simulators. Terminal Velocity was a combat dedicated flight simulator, with easier game controls.

It was made by also made by a former lead programmer of Microsoft Flight Simulator. At its launch, the game's faster frame rates, external environments, and ability to fly through tunnels and into underground caverns set it apart from rest of its genre at the time.

Terminal Velocity came with either a CD-ROM or a floppy disk set. It also had 70 MB of 3D rendered video, support for 640 by 480 SVGA, and support for 8 networked players.
