How to play Ghostbusters II

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse.

Ghostbusters II Description

The different versions of the game differ in graphics and sound. The PC version does show the major differences compared to the other versions since it is developed by Dynamix, while all the other versions of 1989 have been developed by Four Field.

The levels of the game are based on the different scenes of the film. For example, the player controls Ghostbuster Ray Stantz as he descends into the Van Horne subway tunnel and needs with the Statue of Liberty from New York to walk to the museum. The last level takes place in the museum, where the player can assume the role of one of the four Ghostbusters to do battle with Vigo the Carpathian. This last level is made in an isometric 3D perspective. The Ghostbusters use their proton packs and mucus sprayers as a weapon. In the level with the Statue of Liberty, the torch of the statue as a weapon.

In the NES and Gameboy version controls the player constantly one Ghostbuster, but can also choose a second Ghostbuster as NPC the player follows everywhere. The team combination has no effect on the gameplay.
